I always wanted to be a tale
Peter pan, Cinderella, Snow white
But I got the one with the tail
The ugly duckling, that's right !
Staying at the beginning of the story
When the feathers are still grey
Crying and feeling lonely
Waiting for that day
When my neck would grow,
Facing the world from above
When my white feathers glow
And finally feel love
It's a dream, a tale, a wonder
This duck one and no other..
